We are ONE congregation with TWO very unique worship experiences to meet the diverse needs of our members and community.
Our traditional services provide meaningful and relevant worship experiences rooted in the time-honored traditions of the Methodist Church. Join us in our beautiful sanctuary on Sunday mornings to experience and celebrate God’s love through traditional scripture, hymns, ancient liturgy, prayers, sermons, and offerings. In our traditional services, we celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. We practice “open communion,” welcoming all who love Christ, repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another.
We view our contemporary services as a way to move forward with the church while not forgetting the roots of our faith and how we got to where we are today. Held on Sunday mornings in our Family Worship Center, our contemporary services open with praise, as we sing current contemporary Christian songs of praise and stretch ourselves creatively to explore new expressions of music. We are a sacramental community, so in addition to reading scripture, hearing the word, and giving of our offerings, we celebrate the Holy Communion each Sunday. All are welcomed to the table to receive. Come as you are!
Worship Through Music
We are richly blessed through a Music Ministry involving more 90 people, participating on a weekly basis. The goal is always to glorify God through music.
The CHANCEL CHOIR sings weekly in our Traditional Worship Service and provides special music at Easter and Christmas. It is comprised of 25 – 30 members of all ages singing music from all genres from gospel to classical.
The CONTEMPORARY PRAISE TEAM rejoices during the Casual Worship Service.
The HANDBELL MINISTRY involve 10 ringers who play at special services such as groundbreaking ceremonies, Hanging of the Greens, and the Christmas Cantata. Our goal in the coming year is to offer bell music in worship on a monthly basis.
The CHILDREN’S CHOIR sings for special events and programs such as Mother’s Day, Hanging of the Greens, and Christmas. Our church is blessed to have a large number of elementary age children participating in this ministry.
